| TWC vs Fios FIOS is in my part of Buffalo (Tonawanda).
Today I just have TWC for the cable modem as I was too far from the CO for DSL. The turbo package for 15/5 is $57.95 a month.
I currently have TV through DirecTV but if I bundle FIOS TV/Internet, my bundle price for the 2 year commitment is less than my combined TWC and DirecTV.
While the change from 15 to 25 down won't effect me much, having 25 up would be a pickup and help with my work from home on VPN as well as my VPN tunnels back to my equipment.
With notice from TWC raising rates on stand alone cable modems and DirecTV latest rate hike, having a locked in price for 2 years will help me. Sorry TWC, too little, too late. |
