Re: AT&T CEO Calls For 'Light Touch' Regulations The U.S. has had "Light Touch" Regulations for over a decade now and just keeps falling further and further behind other developed countries in part because of AT&T's unwillingness to invest more in broadband expansion no matter what the regulations say. Of course if AT&T had at least a couple of real competitors everywhere then we wouldn't have to rely on regulations so why don't we just get rid of the regulations that enforce the high cost of entry into the telecommunications industry and limit competition first. |
