Qwest dropping convenience fee

Starting a new thread to make it more visible: just received an email yesterday from Qwest. They're dropping the convenience fees:
Dear Valued Qwest Customer,

Thank you again for you taking the time to write to us about the payment
convenience fee. We listened to your feedback, and effective immediately
have stopped charging a convenience fee on self service payment options
for payments made through our online and automated telephone response
system.

We appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve you. If you need
further assistance, please visit us online at »www.qwest.com/customerservice

Sincerely,

I spoke to Qwest public relations and confirmed this:

Yes, there are no longer fees associated with one-time payments made via the phone using only our automated voice system (those that do not involve a live agent at any point) and one-time payments made on qwest.com. There is still a $4 convenience fee for payments made via phone with a live agent. Here's the statement we made on this change: »news.qwest.com/index.php?s=43&item=2065.
