 | Slow speeds in Jarvis?? Hello all, I have had MC internet for a year now. About 3 month ago my speed when all to hell. Great in the AM but by 8 pm I am down to 1/4 of the speed.
I contacted tech support and its a mystery to them. They came and split my phone modem and installed a new SB2102 (speed up grade program LOL)NO way I am paying more for slow speeds at night.

It's called Congestion, it's what happens when everyone in your neighbourhood uses the service at the same time 
Regarding your router "slowing down at night"... yeah, not happening. |

Finally a reply on the issue:
Upon further investigation, the reasons for possible slowdown is an overload on the node you are currently on. This only appears to happen during peak hours and is something we are looking to address. We do not have a timeline for this maintenance but rest assured it is a high priority for us. Your speeds may dip during the evening as a majority of users will be on at this time. This would explain the faster speeds in the AM. If you have any further questions on the matter, please do not hesitate to call or write us back.
I was told two weeks ago that the issue had been resolved and the node was split? The truth will set you free NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! |
