Re: FCC Suggests screwing you out of more money But what "uniformity" can you have when every state/county/city has a different sales tax rate? Do we all pay the highest rate in the country, or do the people who live in the highest rate areas catch a break?
My concern isn't the tax itself. It's who's managing it. The FCC has proven they are useless when it comes to protecting consumers. So this plan will either go no where, or it will pad the pockets of those who "support" the commissioners.
