I'm not suer how big Qwest's VRADs are but if they're fridge-sized it would be hard to place one in front of my apartment. Possible, yes, but I don't think there would be enough space. Besides, there's a nice open ROW a block down that's much more easily accessible Last but not least, I live (not go to school) in a town that's served by Verizon, and won't get sold to AT&T...ever (maybe Windstream though). A CLEC is overbuilding fiber because Verizon won't, so even if the telco did decide to do VDSL they'd be eclipsed speed-wise before placing the first VRAD. | |
