It's not just Boulder. I've seen more police out in force the last two days here in the Springs than I have the last 6 months combined.

Go north of Wellington, you will see zero cops.

I'm convinced CO should put up a sign on I-25 past Wellington. It should say "Warning: You are about to enter Wyoming. Turn back now to remain in civilization"

Cops in Colorado, both state and city, are the most self-serving, sarcastic, arrogant, and sadistic cops that I have ever seen anywhere in this country. I suggest that you avoid them at all cost. Just the slightest snide remark will get you 2 days and a night in jail and a court appearance. They can all bite me.

My experience with Colorado law enforcement has been pretty positive, only one questionable interaction. I'm generally armed, the few times over the past 16 years I've been stopped by law enforcement after informing the officer I was armed they never took the weapons nor acted up tight or worried.
On the other hand having lived in 12 states Colorado has been one of the better states when it comes to dealing with law enforcement. The worst was probably Maryland followed by Kalifornia then Washington St.

Considering the poor driving habits of Colorado Drivers I'd like to see more traffic enforcement officers out and about.
Thanks

Steve

Hear, hear! But at least the bribes are cheap.
