Re: Skeptical

I don't think that anyone can argue that Verizon wouldn't have been a better choice for the iPhone from day one, and that ATT was way behind Verizon in cell infrastructure, then and probably now as well. Part of that is GSM's disadvantage compared with CDMA in terms of range and data handling, but most of it comes from ATT's lack of insight.

But at the same time, what att (3f) has over the other carriers out there is the ability to use voice/data at the same time.. in my opinion, that is what made the iPhone.. the "iPhone"... not being able to use voice and data at the same time is a step back... I'd never want a CDMA version of the phone and I hate using it in EDGE.. I REALLY multi task while on the phone.. with out it, I don't think I'd really like the iPhone as much..
