Re: Not all of it's towers it would be impressive if not for the 1500+ms ping. My sprint phone (HTC Hero) does 2.5mbit/1mbit all day long with less than 120ms latency. |

 | Ya because nobody uses sprint any more. HAHA |

I am not too worried about the ping while browsing on my iPhone. -- "So, Lone Starr, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb."

 | I hardly ever use the browser on the phone, i'm more concerned with how well Remote desktop and other time sensitive applications run. |

Issues on AT&T: Intermittent lag Issues on Sprint: EVDO -> 1x often, and if a call of page comes in, session typically drops. (does drop for calls). -- Canada = Hollywood North |

Just surfing the web or downloading apps which is mostly web traffic anyway. Do you really need to worry about ping times? -- ...I don't have a 16mb speedy connection, I fly through the net at low altitudes! |

 | In fact I do. I use my phone as a SSH/RDP tool to help me assist my clients. I use it as a personal hotspot, to do the same with my laptop. Latency IS important to some people. |
