Re: T Mobile is more likely candidate

I disagree.

All the rumors swirling about are centered around a CDMA iPhone. T Mobile is not a huge player in the US market, no where near as huge as Verizon Wireless.

Look at the time line. Apple usually rolls out iPhone updates mid year. Roll out the latest GSM iPhone mid year, and announce the CDMA iPhone for Verizon.

Production (rumors say) is slated to begin in September. With units hitting stores later that year. Just in time for the holiday rush.

You'll see people lined up around VZW stores waiting in line to buy the #1 on their gift list the Verizon capable iPhone.

It's the next logical step for Apple, and unless AT&T backs a cargo ship of $1000 bills up to AT&T headquarters, it's exactly the route Apple should take.

iPhone on T Mobile? Who gives a shit? iPhone on Verizon? MEGA MEGA hype, and huge publicity.

Steve's a smart guy, and if he's guessing I will be willing to pay my pro rated ETF in January (I skip the holiday megarush, a boycott if you will) to ditch my Storm for a Verizon iPhone, he would be right.

By the time November rolls around, all those VZW Wireless devotes will be drooling at Apple's kneecaps to get a Verizon iPhone.

It would make the CDMA iPhone THE hot item for holiday gift giving.
