LOLs Harddrive! I was expecting "YAY! Sox won!" and I get THAT!
Good game, great night! Pre game: Wicked cool applause for Mike Lowell! Johnny Pesky is timeless. I wanted 95 mph HEAT from Pedro, but nice to see him. The 5 year old was cringe worthy (sorry, I just don't buy cute kids; I was hoping a Fenway Frank was going to take him out). Busy game! I fell into a dinner-coma between the 4th and 7th innings. "Sox in 2" tomorrow. Take the W! Sox in first place MLB!!! 161 more games. Let's get some chatter going!
Let's go Red Sox *clap, clap, clap-clap-clap*
Thanks to Sashwa for stickifying (spell check said sanctifying) the thread! 6 more months +! |

you know how it always goes. Red Sox get all warmed up and rolling good down the stretch. then bomb out at the end and let the Yanks catch up and take the lead in the American League. |

I'm a bit late here, but you KNOW the Sox/Yanks games will not end 3 in hours. They always play marathons it seems. |

Mike Lowell: This probably is my last year By Scott Lauber Saturday, April 10, 2010 KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Regardless of how well or how often he plays for the Red Sox [team stats] or any other team, Mike Lowell said today that this season may be his last in Major League Baseball. Lowell, who will make his first start of the season tonight here against the Royals, was discussing his situation as a bench player with the Red Sox when he was asked if hes already looking forward to next year, when he would be eligible to sign with another team and perhaps play every day. "No, I dont," Lowell said, "Because this probably is my last year." Rest of story... |

OK, this is NOT good... Fewer than 10 games into the season and the outfield is on the DL. 4 & 5, that's .444 |
|
capecoddah |
4 & 8, that's .333 baseball... Only Baltimore, the White Sox and Houston have worse records. Today's game was painful to watch. |

My local news is taking jabs at this worst start for the Sox, in 14 years. Even joked that they should recruit from a little league team that is hitting better then the Sox, so far. |

lol. Mike Lowell gets a standing O when he comes out to hit instead of Pappi. David's not gonna have a job if he keeps this crap up. |

I was setting up the lobby computer and screaming... High Definition Fail... Deep breath........................ Bad moon over Boston. Bruins and Celtics too. Edit 2: We should have given Swine-Tech different directions... If we were lucky, he'd be on his way to McMurdo Station, Antarctica in a plain brown wrapper. |
