| Why don't they have game 2 HD?? it does not take up any more room then game HD, team HD, PPV HD does as out of 4 of them only 2 can be live at one time?
Why CLTV HD not on INFO HD?? that is used for CSN + HD??
If you use CLTV for CSN + SD then give it's own channel slot or add CLTV HD. |

| The Info-HD channel is a constant loop of how to operate comcast cable boxes, digital voice and HSI. When there is a game carried on CSN+ HD, they pre-empt the loop with the game. I guess the OP is trying say is since CLTV-SD is the channel they pre-empt for a CSN+ SD game, then why not have CLTV-HD replace the Info-HD channel.

it probably has to do with comcast's agreement with WGN. Probably they would have to re-negotiate their agreement with WGN to carry CLTV-HD since more than likely it isn't covered by the current agreement.
Plus they probably might be waiting to see if dish and directv approach WGN about carrying CLTV on their services and what rates they agree to with WGN in order to carry the channel.
Think of it like bidding on ebay. Most people wait until less than 5 minutes left to see what everyone else has bid then enter their highest bid.
Comcast would be waiting to see what fees wgn would charge dish or directv then approach them to see if they can reach a similar agreement. |

This thread is about one thing: FINDING OUT WHY COMCAST IS DRAGGING THEIR FEET ON ADDING HD CHANNELS IN CHICAGO (sorry about the caps).
If you work at Comcast and have the answer to that...
or you want a specific HD channel added to the Chicago area lineup,
by all means, please post.
Otherwise, please start your own thread about the corporate structure of CLTV and CSN Sports Plus and what the heck InfoHD is. |

| BBC America does not have any agreements with comcast at all, so it can not be on comcast legally anyway!!!!
But Comedy Central HD is Available when your area gets that world of more upgrade, however Chicago was divided into many zones because they can not just switch an entire town that serves way to many millions of people like that!!!!
I do know that that whole area there had the World of More spread out there until at least September 2010, they do a whole region at the End of Each month so 1 section loses there Analog, then get some more HD, then more HD, and so on, and then Repeat again in another region on a staggered schedule until the Whole process is complete, it take a while but it completely Worth it, you just need patience!!!!!!!! |

Isn't BBC America distributed through Discovery Networks? I would think any agreement has to be with them (Discovery). |

There is SD ver of the info channel that comes in the dta so why can't CSN + be there?
INFO HD was MOJO HD and MOJO was turned off for CSN + HD in the past.
CLTV is no longer on analog so there is no need to shear the channel like that any more.
Maybe they can give CSN + 2 is own channel on 4/22 then after that move CSN + 2 to cltv so it only needed when there 3 live games on CSN. |

Does anyone know if these new channels are being added to the entire Romeoville headend? |
