My advice to AT&T

for their wireline division is: Cut all this spending on PR/Advertising and spend it on hardware for real broadband speed increases. Is U-Verse really a better strategy than Fiber to the Home?

You're losing ground to Comcast(at least around here), and other cablecos, with the DOCSIS 3 upgrades. (note-I live in Verizon territory, but nearby metro is AT&T. No U-Verse there, and no hint of it.)

Under promise, and over deliver.
