A few I just came across. Taken with SD9 and SD14 using a Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX 1:1 Macro lens.
.68ct Untreated African Ruby, very rare in the cinnamon color, especially rare to find an untreated one.

50mm 6s +0.3ev F8 ISO100
~1ct Untreated African yellow sapphire with a slight green undertones. Another very rare stone.

Lastly a ~2-3ct Color Change Garnet from the Umba Valley, even has a few crystal inclusions inside of it.

I just love this thread. For what it's worth, looking at what can be done with this lens is almost as good as having one, which I don't. But I always appreciate other's photographic images. |
