Yes, many of us would like a nice 24-70mm L and...well, just about any L
Not all of us, much better lens I would prefer.

I was hoping to have some shots processed and some more taken by now, but I have had too many job interviews this week. I also tried to get a 52-58 step up ring so I can use my CP filter on my 50 mm, but everyone was out of stock today. I am going to try another place tomorrow after yet another interview.

Yes, the interviews are good things too

Although taken nearly four years ago, this photo of dead tree remains (from a flood site) was one of the last images from my Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens before I gave it away.

One of my daughter's favourites: bunny. They both have two bunnies but each one likes a different one best. Twins are not always alike

Are those grape vines in the last one? Are they grapes for wine? Winner of "best content" if so
Yep! There's a private vineyard about a 5 minute walk from my house. Unfortunately it's not open to the public, and this was as close as I could get. Dang fences and barbed wire. I have one more from the vineyard on my flickr: »www.flickr.com/photos/brianlance/4512196284/
One must drink a lot of wine to have a private vineyard

They do sell it. I haven't had it, and at $35-$200/bottle, I probably won't.

I like that. Probably because most of my outdoor shots get taken when I am out on my bike. I almost always carry my camera backpack with me.

I was out yesterday. I took a few of these weeds, not sure what they are, but this I think was the best.

Not a great shot, but a "famous" Toronto landmark. Anyone who has driven north on the Don Valley Parkway (or Parking lot as it is called) has seen the "Rainbow Tunnel" on the east side before Lawrence avenue. It has been painted in a rainbow pattern for years and keeps getting repainted by someone.

Tulips blooming in the Peony bush

This Sigma 28-70 F2.8 is a soft lens, but seems to do well for these kinds of shots.

It has been suggested that we have a vote and continue this type of thread. However I think it would overlap with the scavenger hunt threads too much. The only way to do something different would be to have a thread that uses a certain technique.

Any interest in that? We can start another thread and discuss if there is interest.
