| Unite Wireless/Skybeam very unreliable service Unite Wireless "merged" with Skybeam back in September 2009. I had been a customer since 2007, and everything had been fine until recently. My speed has been up and down for months. I called, and while I was on the phone the guy made some changes and instantly my DL and UL went to about 5 mbps and 2 mbps. I honestly didn't expect this much. I lasted about 2 weeks. Now, my speed and latency (I play games online) are usually horrible. Customer service says parts for the tower are in the mail. The truth is, good WISPs STOCK spare parts. There network is oversold. I called tonight to cancel. Save your money |
