Re: [HD] 2010 New HD Channels for Comcast Chicago it probably has to do with comcast's agreement with WGN. Probably they would have to re-negotiate their agreement with WGN to carry CLTV-HD since more than likely it isn't covered by the current agreement.
Plus they probably might be waiting to see if dish and directv approach WGN about carrying CLTV on their services and what rates they agree to with WGN in order to carry the channel.
Think of it like bidding on ebay. Most people wait until less than 5 minutes left to see what everyone else has bid then enter their highest bid.
Comcast would be waiting to see what fees wgn would charge dish or directv then approach them to see if they can reach a similar agreement. |
