Re: I want that 100/25 Mbps tier

There's something called "it's getting old".. and it doesn't need to be beat into the ground.

And, if Comcast is known for their 250gb cap.. then what are these ISPs that cap at 5GB or some that believe even less is needed?

Get over it already... there are places to talk about that.. the world doesn't need to revolve around a cap that about 99% of people never hit.

I suppose EVERY single Verizon post needs to have their horrible billing system discussed as well even if the story is about anything but? Think about it... it's old already.
The place to talk about that is here. A broadband forum. It just so happens that Comcast is also the largest broadband ISP, and thus likely affects more users here on this forum than just about any other ISP.

And, although you're looking for an anti-Comcast conspiracy, you'll find users continue to make these EXACT SAME comments about wireless operators plans also.
See: TMO HSPA+, ATT LTE, and VZW LTE posts for reference.

.. and guess what? It doesn't matter WHERE they discuss what... the fact is that there is a topic, and people always have to run off to what's been discussed into the ground. If a new topic is posted, I could care less if it's VZ, TWC, ATT, anything, it gets old when someone has to come in and say the same, broken-record, comment that they always do

They could say "There was a DNS outage" and someone would have to post "What about the caps?".. There could be a "TV Anywhere is now available to connections outside of Comcast's" and someone would post "what about the caps"...

It gets old - and if you've ever posted on FB, ANY time a group-profile post something, like American Idol posted a behind the scenes tour, the entire thread turned into an argument about anything and everything..

I dunno, maybe I'm just too old fashion, but its kind of nice to stick to the topics.

Last I checked, the topic in this thread is about the implication of using that higher speed to reach the cap quicker.

The news post doesn't reference caps, but this thread does. If you're against discussing it, feel free to ignore the discussion thread.

The internet police strikes again. No talking about caps, no discussing caps in forums, no making fun of comcap, no......
