Their only real "feature" is easy implementation. I do, however, differentiate between "overly expensive" and "over-priced" (meaning, I don't exactly disagree with you), so even with a $50 coupon I'd consider the $150 Plus model to still be over-priced.

reply to mod_wastrel said by mod_wastrel:over-priced routers (our tax dollars at work) Getting things done is NOT going to be cheap. It's going to make resources... anyone who thought otherwise is mistaken.

I get things done "cheaply" all the time. Of course, I don't work for the government; I used to, though... I guess we were more efficient back then--less "wasteful".

Yes the government does not do efficient things like mergers and acquisitions of companies that have no reason to go together: Sprint/Nextel, AOL/TimeWarner, or Chrysler/Gulfstream. Nor do we do things like good very long range planning. Say the planning for full fiberoptic buildout of all networks vs. making Verizon shareholders happy over 2 years by not building out ALL networks. You would not want to make 10 times as much 20 years in the future. That would be more "wasteful".

There is a difference when those running a company have to please investors instead of pissing off tax payers. |
