| [Help] how to boost transmission power on speedtouchst780wl(norw i have a speedtouch st780wl i received from my isp telenor here in norway, and before i was using a wired connection but since i moved to a new appartment i cannot use the wired solution, too far distance between modem and pc. i went wireless but the probledm is that here a lot of people are using wireless and my connection is very unstable. it doesnt connect to the routere sometimes and sometimes it doesnt even find the SSID. i tried changing the broadcast channels many times but works for a few minutes and then same thing again. the router freezes sometimes now. when i initiate a p2p app, it downloads at extremely low speeds for 5 minutes and then goes to 0 kbps download speed and during that time i cannot browse the web at all. skype and msn all goes offline. i have to manually restart the router again to gain access to the internet.
firmware on the st780wl is 7.4.4.7 and BANT-R.
can anyone help me resolve this issue? much appreciate any help. |
