I used to maple all the time on hughesnet, it works fine...except you have a hard time picking up your drops. I always kept a pet and had the items so it would pick up my drops for me, which eliminated any problems with picking them up. It made playing near normal for me. The only other place I noticed a difference was the free market, and it was just laggy because of all the users. I played for about a year on hughesnet I think.
