If I roll into Congress or a state legislature with a prewritten law and a bag of money, I go to prison (lawyer or not) for bribery. The trial lawyer union does it and it's a contribution. sounds like you're talking about lobbying here, which is something your big biz buddies are at the forefront of. talk about gaming the system (can't believe you have the audacity to use this argument, "gaming the system"). trial lawyers don't have much when compared to the other side's favorable amounts of legislation. don't know how you can point the finger at trial lawyers in this instance.
or you going to tell me now how big biz doesn't lobby or that it's only a very minimal amount or that it's somehow different? |
