And $3,000,000.00 will get the lawyers a really nice yacht.
it kills me how conservatives are all about being successful and making big money UNLESS it's lawyers that have the audacity to meddle in the affairs of big biz...

(any other profession this same kind of argument would be quickly labeled as class envy / socialism by those same very conservatives)

shouldn't you be celebrating this skill and ability ("rugged individualism!") to earn 3 million and get a really nice yacht??

Nope. Being a waste of skin bloodsucking leech is nothing to be admired just like a tick is not to be admired.

These bloodsuckers didn't "earn" anything.

they didn't earn it? go tell the court system and the judges how they didn't actually earn that money and that CC should have those millions back. you go tell them exactly how that money was not earned and why it should be returned!

i know conservatives get a hard on for tort reform, but their arguments are totally asinine.

They didn't earn anything. They game a corrupt system of laws, written by lawyers for lawyers. If I roll into Congress or a state legislature with a prewritten law and a bag of money, I go to prison (lawyer or not) for bribery. The trial lawyer union does it and it's a contribution. You are the reason Justin made the ignore button.

Enjoy your price increases genius. You've earned them.

"roll into Congress or a state legislature with a prewritten law and a bag of money"

sounds like you're talking about lobbying here, which is something your big biz buddies are at the forefront of. talk about gaming the system (can't believe you have the audacity to use this argument, "gaming the system"). trial lawyers don't have much when compared to the other side's favorable amounts of legislation. don't know how you can point the finger at trial lawyers in this instance.

or you going to tell me now how big biz doesn't lobby or that it's only a very minimal amount or that it's somehow different?
