Re: deal is somewhat different Frontier has roughly 2.3 million customers, and they'll be adding 4.8 million new residential and small-business phone lines and 1 million broadband connections. That's still pretty huge proportional growth and a big and sudden additional support load for a company that already isn't exactly blistering along in terms of network upgrades.
I don't think Frontier will collapse like the others, but I imagine the deal will just further hinder expansion and involve them struggling to manage support loads for some time. |
