West Sacramento AREA

What do people in the West Sac area feel about Wave Broadband? I don't have much choice around here.. either ATT dsl (which I have) and Wave.. I was hoping to get something faster than the max 3mbps with ATT dsl. Help?

Doesn't Comcast also service west sac? I'm moving there at the end of the month and they said they do. They're checking out my new place just to make sure and will get back to me.

I am in Rocklin and just got Wave installed. I bought my own modem at Fry's and I get 4Mb down 1.25Mb up during peak hours (6pm-12pm) and have got up to 9.8Mb down in the mornings. Never less than 4Mb and pings typically in the 30-50mS range.

I hated AT&T. Had it for 4 years and never got anywher eclose to what I was paying for. Now I am paying $2 more and getting at a minimum 4x the speed and somtimes 8x the speed.

Comcast? Not in my area.. I just went with the 18Mb wave broadband plan, fingers crossed. Hopefully there aren't many wave customers in my area to slow it down.
