Its for those with laptops to use while they're out. Your comcast connection is only usable in your home.

So basically, you get cable internet svc for an additional $10/mo. Not a bad deal, at least for the 1st 12 months. After that, no longer a great deal - just a fair one.
Yes...fair...except for the fact that Comcast landline internet is overpriced.

How is that? The biggest competitor is AT&T and they are just as expensive. Their fastest DSL speed is 6Mbps according to their website. My Cable is 18Mbps (I can sustain 2 MBs per second downloading from usenet).
