| AT&T - 7.2 HSPA - when & where? The DFW market is supposed to be one of the first markets getting the 7.2 HSPA rollout, according to AT&T. "AT&T plans to begin deployment of HSPA 7.2 in six major U.S. cities, including Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami"
News reports say that they finished the *software* portion of the update already and are just working on backhaul links.
Other reports say that they're turning up sites with increased backhaul as they finish them.
I was wondering if any of y'all have noticed anything different. Rumors were saying that the area around White Rock Lake in Dallas has been completed and folks are seeing higher speeds, but I haven't seen anything to confirm or deny that. |
