Its for those with laptops to use while they're out. Your comcast connection is only usable in your home.
And if you don't have Clear or Sprint where you're taking your laptop? The next county over has Comcast but not Clear or Sprint anywhere near it. Nor will it have either for the foreseeable future.
meanwhile people that live in an area without broadband continue to get nothing. Hey ISPs here's an idea, if you want more customers GO GET THEM.
When I had sprint it was very hard to find a place with no signal, especially compared to how easy att makes it for me now that I switched. But from what i see this isnt even offered to you by comcast unless you are in a clea r area to begin with.
