Not to be rude, but, No Duhhh! These newer DVDs have those features locked-out so you can't skip the promotional materials. Even the FF button is disabled by the DVD programming. Really crappy idea.
SLD: the feature has worked for every recent DVD I have received from Netflix. Perhaps you have a dumb DVD player or you are getting different DVDs to watch.
