Was wondering what places have the cheapest retail prices for prescriptions? I been going to Giant Food store but wanted to see if anyone else found better pricing in general. Thanks. |

I think you can see what the price is for various meds under one of the links on the front page. -- ~ Insert a Funny Sig Here ~ |

| I was really looking for the lowest retail pricing so that her final payment amount after what her prescription plan covers would be lower. At one time I thought I read that Superfresh has the lower retail price but I not sure if that is the case.
I have a different view of Walmart after watching Micheal Moore's movie Capitalism: A love story. That is despicable that a business will take out a life insurance on their employees to make huge profits from their death and leave the family cold. They not the only ones too. But I digress as that is not the topic here and thank you for the Walmart suggestion. |

At one time I thought I read that Superfresh has the lower retail price but I not sure if that is the case. Understood. The reason I made the suggestion is that sometimes just paying the $4 for the prescription outright ends up being LESS than the co-pay would be through the prescription plan. That's been the case a few times when I picked up prescriptions there for my mother-in-law. -- So put me on a highway, and show me a sign. And take it to the limit one more time... |

A similar issue with my MIL's prescription plan is what led us to Walmart... They jacked one of her prescriptions to $20 but we can get it for $4 @ Walmart. -- So put me on a highway, and show me a sign. And take it to the limit one more time... |

| I looked at the prescription list they have and none of the 2 meds she takes they have. The generic one is free now so why would I want to change that one. As for the other two they have no generic for them. I was hoping someone did some retail price checking though. Based on the movie I saw It seems like in other countries this is a non-issue when it comes to your health. |
