If you are going to do it

If they are going to do it do the place the service to the less dense rural areas first so when they run out of money those areas will have it. In other words start at the ends and work in because those left out will have more options and more voices to get better service. I am not talking about that one house that is off the grid 20+ miles from the next house but maybe if they are on the electric grid or have POTS line then they get service. I recommend FTTH for them

You can depend on one thing

If there is big time federal money to install broadband in the United States the number of under served broadband people will go from 14 Million to something like 563.000.000.000.000 people.
They will be stringing fiber to dog houses.

So exactly which utility company will be placing poles outside their easement to bring fiber to my dog's house?
