Firefox: doubleclick to select partial URL

In Windows, it's easy to doubleclick the address in the URL bar and have it select only areas between punctuation. Is this possible to achieve in Linux? Under about:config I have layout.word_select.stop_at_punctuation set to true.

layout.word_select.stop_at_punctuation does not apply to the mouse. It stops the highlight at a punctuation mark when using CTRL + SHIFT + Left/Right Arrow.

There might be another hidden option somewhere in Firefox, or it might in fact be a setting within GNOME/KDE that is affecting this behavior.

I notice that it works fine in the search bar, but not in the address bar.

UPDATE: Nevermind, I found it. Set this to false: browser.urlbar.doubleClickSelectsAll
