Silverdale, WA | Wave Upgrade Last Night In Kitsap County So anyways... to make a long story short......
Wave did and "upgrade" last night to the Kitsap County system which I noticed around 1am as my HD-DVR stopped receiving any channels. Called in and they didn't even have the box in their system on my account! LOL!! Go figure... Called a tech and we couldn't get the box working or responding to requests on their side. Guess I will be watching all my recorded shows and taking it in for a swap out.
Another upgrade gone wrong by Wave... ha ha. |

Are they still deploying the crappy Motorola boxes DCT6412 IIIs or are they doing better now?

Silverdale, WA | Well I went into the local Wave Broadband retail store in Silverdale and got a new box. They guy helping me laughed when I told him their upgrade "fried" my box. He said I wasn't the first person to come in today. LOL!
They gave me a brand new Motorola DSC3400-M! Sweet! It seems to respond much better to remote commands also. Looks like it has a 250GB drive also for more storage of HD programming. He said they have the ports enabled also if you want to hook up an external HD for more storage. |

| Does the HDMI work on it?
We have been having problems with our DVR for a few months now. We've had it for almost 4 years now so that isn't unexpected. Might take it to get swapped out.

Where's your geek? Give linhes a try. Can be installed without tv tuner cards then added later if you like it. |
