Re: How about a little truth for a change?

Whoa, I HAVE cricket and their PLAN effectively is 5gb per month LIMIT with the ability to use FUTURE GBs to be PAID BACK by future months, to avoid large overage charges in the current billing cycle.
Their small print says the "Unlimited Plan" is LIMITED to 5gb, then slows to about 10-20Kb/s "unlimited" (it is NOT). THAT super-slow "unlimited" usage counts AGAINST you building back up to getting your 5gbs BACK!!! Yes that's right, another little game was explained to me (phone, they refused to put this in writing) when my 5Gb did not reset on the 3rd, 4rth or even 5th month's billing cycle. Because I CONTINUED TO USE (read unlimited use) the connection even at only 10-20Kb/s, I had PERPETUALLY DELAYED getting my account back down below 5Gb TOTAL usage limit. Now, if I ever want to see 90Kb/s again, I have to stop using the service until all the GBs I've used averages out to under 5gb/month since inception. Then cricket's computer will release, each day, what Gb usage was used exactly 30 days ago in a rolling first in - first out fashion.
That is CLEARLY a 5gb per month plan with the ability to use FUTURE GBs to be PAID BACK by future month's 5Gb Limits, to avoid large overage charges in the current billing cycle.

Nowhere in the implementation of the cricket plan is there unlimited service at broadband speeds, ever. Hence, it is not Unlimited broadband.

Nor is it unlimited even at 10-20Kb/s speed. Even at that slow usage, you are borrowing from future months, delaying, probably in perpetuity, any chance of broadband speeds (even a lowly 90Kb/s). Cancelling the plan will require you to pay for those Gbs used and not yet "paid for" by future months. Hence they are not unlimited and certainly not free in dollars or speed costs.
