What possible use could any data they collected have in making a freaking road map. None that I can see. And.. if it was accidental and admitting it may dismiss them from any liability then I can go out and kill somebody and say it was accidental so I don't have to assume any liability? And I don't care if any of the data is useable or not. It was just plain wrong!

The W3C has a whole Geo spec they are working on here: »www.w3.org/2003/01/geo/ Or if you're using a modern browser on a computer with wifi, say Chrome or Firefox, go to maps.google.com and click on the little dot on the left side of the map above the Gold Guy's head. A second later I'm zoomed in on my house. It works better in populated areas of course.
