ATT will do fine, but won't be able to service power users, which is a small part of the general population. Why spend billions when only a few % need that much bandwidth? The do need to beef up the infrastructure to sustain 10Mbps to end users but most user themselves don't need more than 10. Copper has some life left for the last mile. | |

1 edit | When I go to my Cousin's house with UVerse... I laugh inwardly that they will "Put Up" with dropped frames....
I go nuts watching UVerse on their bigscreen... Every few seconds it drops a frame.....
I finally went home, and brought over a BluRay I made, encoded at 40Mb/sec, and it played flawlessly.... So that rules out the display.......
Yeah... you don't need extra bandwidth... Yeah....
