All of these boxes fall short of the simplicity of double clicking something and just viewing it. I want either a regular DVR, or a computer. All this inbetween stuff is destined to fail until the TV/film industry can get people paying for content again. Good luck with that! There is potential for this to succeed: people who want to show a youtube video without turning the computer on, or people who want the downloading functionality my computer has without dealing with a computer. I can grab an episode of a show in a matter of minutes in HD and have it readily available.
