Verizon or Cell One, here I come!

When Alltel gets obsorbed into at&t here, I'm ditching them completely.

I know at&t will kill of the CDMA towers here, forcing all existing Alltel users here to buy a new phone, which will kill off their Unlimited data plan. Very sneaky, at&t.

..as for me, I'm screwed either way. I use alot of data and this is going to screw me over quite well.

If it's just voice I need, I'm going to get a TracFone or a StraightTalk phone.

I pay $100 a year for 1 year service with 400 minutes with my TracFone dumbphone (don't talk much, just there for emergencies). Pricewise at $8.33 a month I can't understand the insanity behind getting a smartphone.

Had the service for a couple of years now and I'm sitting at 600 or so minutes left since they do rollover.

nobody gets an iPhone to talk. They are exclusive to AT&T and if you haven't noticed they tend to drop calls.

people get the iPhone for data.
