In their advertisements and "how to videos" they always use Motorola on screen guides, never SA, making the videos useless. Where does Comcast "tout" their TiVO software on Motorola boxes? I have not seen that. I don't think it's even available outside of parts of Massachusetts. And the majority of Comcast customers do NOT have SA cable boxes. Right here:

The U.I. looks nice. Too bad it never made it outside of New England. Who's fault was that? Motorola? Comcast? Tivo? I think it's a lost cause. They should just go with RCN's deployment model with the Seachange VOD over IP applet. Although I like the grid guide in the Tivo on Motorola better. Just make that baby 16:9 and we've got something even sweeter. |

Many years ago when Comcast and TiVo made the business deal, Comcast was doing alot of online bragging because this was around the time that TiVo was breaking out on its own and was no longer with DirecTV. |
