The nice thing about this is that you've got both interests: cable/telco and content. So there should actually be some balance in everything.
What are you talking about? When has any industry ever successfully policed itself? And you are aware the FCC has various technical advisory boards, right? It's not like the lawyers/FCC commissioners just sit on a bench all day and blindly yell "yay!" or "nay!" to various questions.
