| TDS DSL convert to U-Verse Hello folks, Has anyone recently done a TDS Metrocom phone/DSL conversion to U-verse? I'm actually looking at U-verse because of my frustration with TV via Dish Network. TDS has been great for all the years we've used them.
Anyhoo, I've read of horror stories in getting the TDS DSL shutdown completely and AT&T taking over the line for U-verse. Apparently an AT&T ORDER Can' even be places until the line is released. Delays (and internet downtimes) of weeks to months have been mentioned. Most of what I've read is from 2009. Perhaps they have gotten better and the conversion process runs smoother now.
I really can't be without an internet connection for more than a day or two. It sounds like even in the best case, I could be down for a couple weeks.
I appreciate hearing of any good or bad experiences making this migration.

| Can you simply get another line and run them site by side until U-verse is installed and up and running reliably? |
