 | CT.METROCAST.NET The only one and WHY? Why has this company under various names been the only choice available to us? When I do the speed test etc we are at less than the rest of CT. Why has it been 5 plus years that they tell us the signal to our house decreases severely and a new cable needs to be run and still has not been. I have spent what probably adds up to years trying to get help, the service to work and we added the netflix player, which tells us our ISP does not have enough power and they claim to have the power the Netflix players require, we've tried 5! If we write or call we get a message that they will not respond to us because the second they call when I cannot get to the phone, and they know I am disabled on oxygen. My husband works of course. Why? We're very nice people paying alot of money for the only service available to us. Is it wrong to ask or wonder why this is the only service available to us for 20 plus years in Montville, CT? I think that is a reasonable question and expectation. The Cable Modem performs well below the average test for CT. if the testing sites are reliable. I do know that people who were able to switch are very happy. An observation. and a laugh, people ask me if our ISP is from the dark ages. LOL

| I feel your pain, the only way we'll see changes will be when AT&T rolls U-Verse to a majority of the Metrocast areas. Until then, it's basically a monopoly and of course, they won't change until they feel it is necessary not when the customer asks.
On a side note, the last couple of weeks it's been behaving but I'm not putting much stock on that just yet. |
