Re: Business class voice/internet modem

I am mad at myself for falling for a pitch. Sure the equipment provided will "work" and yes I can buy a power-strip I can even clean up the install. But why would I want to. I am letting off steam here. I only have one line that is a dedicated fax line and after telling every one involved this was the use three times. And even hearing the tech tell the office from my recently ported line that this is a data only line, I realised today that I had voice-mail installed. This was the reason my fax tray was empty. I have posted as "Mr Picky" because I am a zip tie and wire loom kind of guy. But even if you are the kind of guy that never casts an eye into the equipment room you might be better served with a professional telephone service provider. Comcast is trying to get into this market because it will be lucrative for them as telephone uses comparatively little band width.I think they just aren't up to the job as far as customer service goes, (15 minute hold after clearing the gates). arrgh! BTW, Yes we have XFINITY!
