1 edit | [Sprint] Evdo casual? I just got a notice from Sprint about checking our plan, blah blah blah.
Well, we have two phones, one for husband and one for myself. His phone just has talk time (ends in 5004) my phone has unlimited messaging and EVDO casual, whatever that means. I don't surf the web, download music or ringtones, send IMs, ect. Just text to fb and friends and family.
Could I be charge data prices for when people are sending picture mail? I hate that it automatically connects to the Power Vision when someone sends me a pic mail, I don't even get the option to tell it to "not to connect" and if I don't pick up my phone for several hours or even days, I see the stupid connection arrows on my phone and have no idea how long they have been on.
And they continue to charge us taxes for South Dakota even though we have called them about it several times and we have been living in Ohio for the past two years, where they have been billing us. Sometimes I just really really hate Sprint. |

| Picture email - yes Picture MMS - No
MMS count as a text message and since you have unlimited you don't have to worry about it.
You can also call up sprint (or check online) to make sure you aren't being billed for data usage.
first link on google says quote: EVDO casual is a power vision service by which you can send the e-mail, browse the mail and download premium content at speeds up to ten time faster than vision in EVDO coverage area. It will not effect to your cost.
-- I found the key to success but somebody changed the lock. |

 | reply to thesimonsens Well, we just left the Sprint store and changed our service over to the Everything Messaging Family/Shared with 1500min, unlimited text. The new phone I got has one click facebook, but now that new plan doesn't have EVDO, I will be charged a fee when using the feature then, wouldn't I? Can I still text text and reply to fb texts and not be charged a data fee?
Thanks |

 | Looking at the plans, I think we would be better off getting the Everything Data Family - with Any Mobile, Anytime, it looks like it would be a better deal at 129.99/mth (for 2 phones I think) not including our military discount
I really don't think at the store they really ask you enough questions to see what plan works best for your use. |
