I have my own adapter that your techs put the SIP creds into. I don't know if the fact that it was not a PP ata could have been a factor in it not cycling back up... I have felt that PP has otherwise been reliable and customer service has been exceptional.
Sorry this happened to you as well. If it makes you feel better I have had the same thing happened to me about a year ago? PP had an outage which was accounted for in this page

The device re-registered and has been smooth sailing since. PP also has took it upon themselves to state you should "unplug the Phonepower, routers, modems, etc. and wait 20 seconds when you call support.
