Re: Nvidia GTX 470 question First and foremost, PhysX is nothing special...Just so you should know, its not implemented in all games and i personally see no use for it. That being said, the 5850 is an amazing card for the price, however the 470 is not a bad deal anyways, if i were you though i would get the superclocked version anyways, being as it factory overclocked thus more reliable and stable. If you plan on playing new games at 1080p then either the 470 or 5850 are your best bet. Just make sure you find the best price possible. Also if you have a crossfire motherboard, two 5770 are cheaper than a 470 and a 5850 and will outperform them. Or even two 4890 will outperform a 5870. And most games these days support crossfire. Thats just my 2 cents. | |

How I felt with PhysX.. before I got my Ati 4870 I was back and forth with the Geforce model of that time (can't remember the model was it 260? anyways I went with the ATI the deciding factor was hardly any games had PhysX and when turned on it was just Meh and brought the frame rates down as well..
