Re: Nvidia GTX 470 question

Wait a second... you're buying a $350 video card to run L4D2 because your on-board graphics can't do it?

Based on what the Nvidia site says, PhysX is implemented for six "current games: Batman: Arkham Asylum, Darkest of Days, Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel, Dark Void, Cryostasis, and Mirror's Edge.

I would suggest two 5770s in Crossfire, and overclocked, if that's your thing. But really, one is just fine if all you are playing is L4D2.

You have to ask yourself if spending that much money is worth it.

All the wealthy, unhappy people you've ever met take sleeping pills; Mobile Infantrymen don't need them. Give a cap trooper a bunk and time to sack out in it, and he's as happy as a worm in an apple—asleep.

Well I actually did end up going with the evga gtx 470 superclocked edition..simply because newegg upped the price on the other card, so I figured might as well go with the superclocked one.
