Based on what the Nvidia site says, PhysX is implemented for six "current games: Batman: Arkham Asylum, Darkest of Days, Sacred 2 - Fallen Angel, Dark Void, Cryostasis, and Mirror's Edge.
I would suggest two 5770s in Crossfire, and overclocked, if that's your thing. But really, one is just fine if all you are playing is L4D2.

Well I actually did end up going with the evga gtx 470 superclocked edition..simply because newegg upped the price on the other card, so I figured might as well go with the superclocked one. | |
