Not to completely hijack the topic, but has anyone gotten their Distinguished Weapon Knowledge insignia?
I've seen a few forum posts stating its a bug with the Garand, but I've got my Garand bronze too... and nothing.. 15K points just sitting there

Well I found out hardcore is not one shot kill..
I hit a person square with the sniper rifle and did not die (saw him run around the corner)
it takes about 2 hits to get a kill disappointment if you ask me.. I asked on one server and they said after the last patch the amount of hit needed to take one down on a hardcore server is no longer one. |

They'll die with one shot from the Magnum, Barrett, or M24. Guarantee it. Unless you shoot them in the leg.

You'll need to account for bullet drop when sniping. If the target is far enough away, just because you're aiming for the chest doesn't mean you're hitting the chest. Also remember if they are running parallel to you there's a good chance you're hitting them in the arm. Try and work on head shots. Those are always a one shot kill no matter what mode the server is running. |

it's not really much hardcore anymore :-/

I play every night on Hardcore servers only. I guess since I only use the m95 when Recon I havent noticed. I didnt see anything in the patch notes though about decreasing bullet damage. I know there was some weapon balancing based on public feedback but thats it.
The m24 always seemed low damage but you know what I was alot better shot when I was using that cause I had to be. I knew i had to go for head shots. Now with the m95 I just aim for center mass. |
