I got my first Platinum star with a gun (already had them for the 40mm GL and the CG).
The SCAR-L, I hit 1,000 kills. Next will be the XM8 Assault (like 850 kills right now).
If I would have just used a few weps I would have gotten a Plat star months ago, but I was spreading my kills out over all the weps, and first got a Gold star with every gun in the game (all the 100 kills for a Gold star weapons)....except the M1 Garand, I only have 60 kills, so need to get that one a Gold star.
