Battlefield BC2 is an entirely different game than MW2 thats for sure. I have logged a lot of time in this game, and I prefer it to MW2 thats for sure. At the same time though, you have to be aware that things are different in the game.
MW2 is a popcorn action shooter. There is really no realism to the game. I just can't stand people teleporting ahead 20 feet and using the knife, but its a fun action shooter thats for sure. If I want at least a small degree of realism and want to work in a team, then I play BFBC2.
Hardcore mode is the way to play this game. I really didn't like how many shots it took to take a person down. Hardcore really brings that down a bit. I also don't like the killcams in MW2. There is a certain amount of realism to not knowing where you got shot from which I like (no, I don't play a sniper).
The best advice I can give is to work with your squadmates. Thats the only way to do well in this game. I don't play rush very much. A majority of the games I play are hardcore conquest games. Still, playing the game as much as you can and learning the maps are key to doing well in this game.
I don't use all the "high level" guns. There is no BFG9000 that you use at a high level. Every gun has advantages and disadvantages. If you get owned by someone with a higher rank, don't think of it as gear imbalance. Its more of a skill imbalance more than anything. -- My domain - Nightfall.net |
