They aren't with FiOS anymore

Why would they still have access to FiOS services if they don't have FiOS any more?

Uh...we still do have FiOS. Try actually reading what people are writing, you and hotboi must share the same brain?

So verizon is actually letting frontier use their FiOS name? I did not know this.
That actually seems rather odd for Verizon to allow the use of their copyrighted name.

Were they forced into this to get the deal to go through? It doesn't seem normal for Verizon.

Possibly. It might be something that was required to help keep Frontier on a good footing at least with the branding (people know FiOS = Fast) to help with uptake.

Yes, this has been posted a number of times, with the licensing for the name FiOS having been reported to be good for anywhere from 2 -5 years.

I'm sure there was some serious haggling going on. Frontier wasn't looking to take on FiOS in these four states, Verizon made them.

Simply put "talks" that is all that there is that is said. And reported" but by who? Nobody but on here. Proof as everyone on here asks for.

It's called FiOS on Frontier site.

You're free to believe otherwise but it doesn't make you RIGHT. You are in fact wrong. Some of us have been following this since the announcement made in May '09. We actually know what we're talking about.

I think it should be you providing the link that Frontier did not receive licensing rights for the word "FiOS". Usually the outlier is the one who has to prove their basis of fact.
